Welcome to the Resource Recovery Program

Recycling amounts generated from the buildings served by the Resource Recovery Program are
available and listed by quarters. The information compares the amounts from the current
fiscal year to the amounts generated in fiscal year 2009.

Find out how much your building recycles.

Resource Recovery completed a third waste characterization study for the buildings located in the capitol
complex. The information provides details of material type and the volume of each found in the discarded
solid waste from this group of buildings.
Results from the most recent solid waste study have initiated changes to supplies and equipment
that reduce the amount of solid waste generated.
The comparison information of the three waste studies also indicates the effectiveness of the
recycling program used in these buildings, and continued dedication to recycling by the
employee's of the State of Minnesota
.

Results of the waste characterization studies will be posted in the near future.
